See, my computer broke back in April. On the night of my birthday...well...birthday party that is. How did this happen? Well, one of my housemates bought me an oversized Brandy Snifter and this the same night that our house bought two kegs to throw a little bash. Well, one thing led to another and I drank WAY more than what I should have drank. And the worst part about his whole thing is, I didn't break the seal all night. So this left me with a large amount of fluid in my body. In the midst of my sleep that night, the seal involuntarily broke, all over my bed. And that wouldn't have been bad, but I have a thing about watching movies while I sleep. The thing is, I didn't have a TV in my room, so I used my macbook to watch a movie. Therefore, as I pissed my bed, I pissed my computer.
Anyway, the piss on the computer didn't agree with the power source. It fried and there was no way to start up my computer. So I took it in and told the mac guru that and they sent it in. They fixed the power source, but that's isn't the good part. They also replaced the keyboard, touchpad, and faceplate on the computer. So now it really is as good as new.
Anyway, that is about the extent of my excitement over the last two weeks. I do have my first PFT (Physical Fitness Test) for the USMC this coming week, Tuesday the 24th to be exact. I am not really sure how I will do on it. I have been training, but have been lacking on the pullups. My running will be solid and I feel like I can ace the crunches, but I don't have much faith in my pullups. I guess we will see. The good news is I can test as many times as I want.
I guess one more thing is that I have begun helping my dad with his wood removal project. He had a bad case of termites and carpenter ants. So, his cure for this was chemical treatment and then removing all wood around the house. So now, we are trying tear down his wooden shed that is completely rotted out. While removing some shingles I found upwards of 10,000 ants and larvae in them...so I think I came up and ended the bulk of the ant problem at his house.
